I came in for lunch one day, then went back for dinner on the last evening of my trip. The food is fresh and delicious, and the atmosphere is lovely inside and out on the terrace. The owner and staff were so kind and made each meal feel special. Maison du Kerala is a real delight, authentic and full of flavor. If I lived nearby, I'd be a regular, but NYC is a bit far for weekly visits! I can't wait to come back to La Charité.

Arun is absolutely charming and always makes you feel welcome, and his wife Sona is a phenomenal cook. The fresh food is delicious and never disappoints. This wonderful restaurant recently received the award for best restaurant in La Charité sur Loire, and it thoroughly deserves its 5 stars. Unmissable!

Delicious Indian food with a French twist, cooked by the owners themselves. This lovely family-run restaurant is right in the heart of France, with a beautiful setting and beautiful hosts.

The Indian food is amazing, and the place gets very crowded. I'd book ahead if you want to make sure you get a table.

The street can look deserted, but this is the right place. We were hoping to eat on the terrace, though it wasn't open for lunch, so we had our meal inside instead. The food was good and not very spicy, perhaps adjusted a bit for local tastes. The garlic and cheese naan was unexpectedly tasty. A good experience overall.
