The balcony shutters open onto a view of the town, and the hotel itself has that classic 18th-century feel. It's right in the centre of la chatre, with clean, comfortable rooms. The Madam who does everything was friendly and helpful, and took care of what we needed. Breakfast was good, the coffee was great, and the price was very affordable. We'll have no trouble booking here next time we visit.

We found this old, quaint hotel quiet and comfortable despite being close to the city centre. The ladies at the front desk were very pleasant and seemed keen to help. We really enjoyed staying here.

La Chatre is a lovely town to wander around, with several good places to eat. The hotel is simple and right in the centre, and the owners were very helpful. There are parking bays too. We hope to come back when we can.

For 55 euros, the double room felt well worth it. It was clean and comfortable, with a good bed and en suite. A modest, very traditional French hotel, and the patronne is charming.

We've been here five or six times already, and the owner is lovely. We'll definitely be back.
