Domaine des Restanques

The pool area is a lovely place to unwind, shaded by pine trees with cicadas in the background. There are little spots with loungers, and the summer kitchen has a fridge and everything needed to cook. We also spent some days working at the big table beneath the pergola, then had relaxed evenings sharing food and drinks with the other guests. We stayed five nights at Les Restanques, which has just two rooms for two adults each, so it felt genuinely quiet. Our room was comfortable and very clean, with a private bathroom and good bedding. We stayed for ten days and they went by in a flash. We’d happily come back. Catherine and Claude are lovely hosts and put a lot into making sure guests have a good holiday. Breakfast was delicious, and a nice chance to sit and chat with them. The property is beautiful, with flowers and trees throughout the spacious grounds, plus a lovely pool. A week here felt like a little bit of paradise. The rooms were spacious and spotless, the pool was a real wow, and it was so peaceful. The location was great too. The estate among the pines is so relaxing, and after days out exploring, the pool and summer kitchen were just what we needed. Breakfast was generous, with fruit from the estate orchard :) Catherine, Claude, and Marlow greeted us with smiles, good humor, and stories. We had an idyllic few days away with friends in this peaceful place, though the stay went by far too fast. Thanks again!
