Hôtel de la Corniche

We booked here because Cassis was full. The staff were very nice, and the hotel is well placed between La Ciotat and St-Syre-sur-Mar. Our room, 315, was small, with a “wet bath” and a nice patio, though there was quite a bit of road noise out there. The forest view rooms felt too small and tired for a 3*, and I don’t think they’re worth the price. I’d try to get a sea-facing room. The wifi also didn’t work for us at all.

A real blessing of a stay, and so affordable. The room had an incredible view of the sea, breakfast was fabulous, and the front desk staff were helpful. The location was perfect too. Thank you for making our trip to the South of France so special. I had an AMAZING time!

The staff were terrific, from the front desk to the cleaning team, and especially helpful with dinner bookings. Their suggestions were all good, with La Crique our favorite. We spent four restful nights and will definitely return. We came across this place while searching for a seaside resort and were encouraged by the reviews. Our terrace faced both the forest and the sea, and we could hear the waves at night. The room was simple, clean, and comfortable. When I mentioned at booking that my better half had a birthday, they decorated the room with rose petals and folded a towel into a rabbit, with a birthday greeting. Breakfast was excellent, with fresh juice and home baked pastries. The WFI wasn't the best, but we were on vacation, not on our computer.

The location is handy for visiting the tourist spots, and the hotel itself is nice. The rooms were clean and decent, and the service and people were very nice. Breakfast, though, was very poor. Even after paying for it, you had to pay extra for scrambled eggs. That was a first for me :)
