The low-numbered pitches, 1-8, had plenty of shade and less traffic noise, and were closer to the beach. The soil was hard, so pitching my tent was difficult, but at least there were no ants 😁. I was cycling alone and paid €18 a night, cash only. It was a short ride to the beautiful main port, with lovely little beaches less than 500m away. A great place for a rest day. I really appreciated having a sink by my tent. Aldi was a few minutes away, and the site was very clean with nice staff.

We came here by accident and ended up staying for more than two weeks. The sea-view pitches are beautiful, and public transport is reasonably accessible. The Wi-Fi had a strong signal and stayed stable, though it wasn't very fast. Electricity is 5 Amps. Showers and toilets were a bit poor, even though they were cleaned every day. We loved our stay, but that's why I'd give it 4 stars.

La Ciotat's harbour is small but lovely compared with other towns in the area, and has fewer tourists. The campsite has a direct view of the Mediterranean Sea and is 5 km from the port. The basic services are fine, and the team was nice and helpful with information. Bring your own toilet paper, and enjoy being a little way from the main road. We had one night of loud music from the nearby restaurant and bar, but the nights were otherwise quiet. A good place to stay if you don't like crowded campsites on the Eastern Côte d'Azure.

It's by the sea, but I'd hardly call it a beach, just a small rocky spot. The campsite is extremely crowded, and everything feels and smells dirty. The reception staff weren't friendly, and we felt like a burden instead of welcome guests. There could be a nice campsite here, but it needs a lot more care.

We paid €33 a night for four people. This is the cheapest and best campsite in the area, with small pitches that each have their own water connection. The sea is a three-minute walk away, though the beach is stony, as you'd expect here. Depending on your pitch, the road can be noisy. La Boulangerie is five minutes away on foot for bread, and Aldi is a ten-minute walk. The sanitary facilities are getting old but are clean. In the evening, they close most of the showers and toilets, leaving only a few open, even in high season.
