The service was excellent, and the boy and girl working the night of 19 august were really friendly. Please give them a bonus! The food was good, but they forgot two of our orders. While the rest of the family ate their lovely burgers, those two people had to wait another 45 minutes. A shame at such an expensive restaurant.

The restaurant is right on the seafront, but the experience was disappointing. We waited over an hour for the bill, and I still don't know how customers don't just leave without paying. I waited patiently. Before that, one of our dishes came out well before my companion's, so my plate was empty while I looked jealously at her full pot of mussels. Then it got dark and the restaurant switched on a black light, which made the food look really unappetizing. Someone's phone alarm also went off while we were eating, bringing back stressful workday mornings, not what I want to hear on holiday. The glasses were another problem: the wine glass had a ring of limescale around the rim, unless there's some new wine and limescale cocktail, and the water glasses had suspicious bits of food stuck to the sides.

The waterfront setting was fantastic, and the service was attentive, excellent, and really friendly. We had moules et frites, a beer, and a glass of wine. The moules et frites were good, just much too salty.

The long wait wasn't worth it. The food was mediocre at best and didn't make up for the service. The only dish I can recommend is the pasta carbonara; the rest wasn't worth the money. One young waitress was kind but chaotic and forgot our order, while the other waiter seemed completely nonchalant and didn't actually do anything. We waited half an hour just to order, then another 45 minutes for the food. I wouldn't come back.
