The location, hotel, staff, and catering all get 10/10 from me. And the chef deserves five stars too.

The chalet itself was nearly a four or even five star stay, but the bath never got hot enough to use. The agency plumber came back several times during our week, yet the temperature was never raised. Maybe the owners wanted to save hot water and energy, though that approach backfired: we ran about six baths that were unusable, putting extra strain on the heater and wasting hundreds of liters of clean water. We raised the issue with the agency more than once, especially as we were leaving, and asked for some compensation since it hadn't been fixed. The owners refused. That lack of understanding, and what felt like plain stinginess, left me having to rate an otherwise nearly perfect experience poorly, which is a real shame.
