Chalet Andreanna - OVO Network

Chalet Andreanna is a great chalet, but our two stays, in consecutive years, were let down badly by its management company, Ovo Networks. On our second arrival, the beds hadn't been made and there were no towels. It was already early evening, and we had two small, exhausted children with us. When we complained, the property manager, Denys, said he'd bring towels and linen “sometime that evening.” That left us expected to make the beds ourselves, without regard for the children needing to get to bed. I can make a bed, but after paying over £5000 for a week's accommodation, I wasn't keen to do that. When I pushed Denys to say exactly when he'd come, he hung up, though he denies it. Then Sylie, the customer relations manager, made it clear she thought speaking with us at all on a Saturday afternoon was a favour. She said our contract was with the owners, whom we'd never dealt with, though I assume they pay Ovo to handle these things. I asked an Ovo owner to contact me, but nobody did. There were other problems too: parts of the chalet weren't clean, and the arrival instructions had an outdated phone number. We won't return to Chalet Andreanna or any other chalet managed by Ovo, and I'd advise others to avoid Ovo as well.
