Hotel Beauregard

The staff were generally kind and helpful, especially at breakfast and in the ski room, and we had a very nice stay overall. A few things did spoil it, though. We had to ask more than once for help with our luggage at check-in and check-out, and we still weren't sure whether that service was included. The towels in our room had makeup stains from previous guests, several of them, and they didn't look new. We also found out about the extra €20 per day for parking only after paying for a non-refundable booking. Parking was a walk down by the ski slope, and the website hadn't mentioned the extra charge. Since most guests would drive to La Clusaz, we'd assumed parking was included.

The room service was quick and efficient, and after breakfast our room was already taken care of. Rooms are cosy, with ski storage right by the entrance, and everything feels practical and well organized. The hotel is a minute's walk from the ski station, which is really handy. Staff were caring and very helpful, the breakfast was decent, and the restaurant served delicious, high-quality food, though it was relatively expensive. The only thing I'd improve is the sound insulation between rooms, though that may be tricky with the wooden structure. A lovely, cosy hotel I'd recommend.

Parking can be a bit tricky, but the welcome was especially nice. Since it was our first time at the hotel, someone showed us around. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with a lovely view across the valley. The pool was a good size, and there were afternoon snacks at the bar if you arrived between 4pm and 7pm.

The food was immense, proper fine dining done to a high standard. Staff were super friendly too, and I had a great stay. The swimming area was lovely, with a steam room, sauna and Jacuzzi. The hot tub stayed warm even when it was cold outside.
