A lovely setting, with a comfortable feel and friendly people.

The lifts are only about 100 metres away, and there’s a free shuttle or a pretty walking route into town, which is 3 km off. We had a great week at this family-run hotel. Joël and the team made us feel welcome, the decor is lovely, and the service was excellent. Meals were varied and really good, too.

The rooms run a little small, though the beds were comfortable. The owner was friendly and had useful advice about the resort. For a 2-star hotel, it’s good quality: the shared areas were clean, and the spacious dining room has lots of windows and nice views of the surroundings.

The location is good, but the place badly needs renovating. The meals tasted good, though the portions were small and the set menu didn’t work well for children. They even refused to give me rice with my fish. The toilets also had a strong urine smell. There weren’t enough emergency exits on the upper floors, and some were locked by the owner to protect his alcohol bottles.

We liked having two proper rooms within the five-person booking, one for the kids and one for the parents. The hotel is quiet and ideally placed, and the rooms, bathrooms and toilets were very clean. Towels came in two sizes for everyone, a nice extra. Good value for money.
