I’ve been around La Clusaz often over the years and have stayed at many hotels nearby. This was one of the best. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, and I loved the place. My room had a lovely, proper wooden alpine look, mixing modern standards with traditional style in just the right way. The location suited me perfectly, just around the corner from the Etale lift, which I could see from my window. Thank you.

A beautiful setting, with wonderful hosts and a local mountain breakfast.

We spent two nights in a beautiful room, and the welcome was impeccable, with so much kindness and plenty of smiles. The hotel is charming, with a magnificent, peaceful view. After a lovely hike, taking a dip in the pool was such a pleasure. We read on the terrace to the sound of cowbells, then enjoyed a perfect breakfast buffet facing the mountain. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We stayed in the Aravis room, where waking up to fir forest with snow-capped mountains above it took our breath away. It’s a magnificent setting, and a lovely place if you want peace and quiet and a while feeling disconnected from the world. The welcome was impeccable. The staff were warm, friendly, and incredibly attentive.

We spent a week at this chalet, which we already knew, but the change of ownership was obvious from the first day. The €18 breakfast is a rip-off. During the day there was no way to get coffee or tea. When I asked, the person said they were going on a break and asked if I minded waiting 😱. The rooms were only half cleaned each day. We paid €550 a night, so the value for money was very disappointing.
