We had a friendly welcome, a tasty breakfast with plenty of variety, and afternoon snacks. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The spa was nice, and it was great to use it on the morning before checkout. Our room was too hot in April, even on the lowest heat setting. Could the heating be turned down? Booking.com showed a lower price than the hotel website. They matched it, but sorting that out was a hassle: I had to call twice and email, with no personal gain. I think I may even have paid more because Booking.com said taxes were included, but the hotel added them separately. That’s probably my own fault, but I don’t like giving money to a middleman, and most hotels appreciate direct bookings and offer something in return.

This was our second stay, and the staff and the way they organise everything are incredible. There’s a shuttle to the slopes, breakfast service, cake hour, board games, an all-day spa and so much more. Hats off to the whole team. Five stars, even though the hotel only has four, still feels like an understatement for this level of service. May your stars shine bright over the Alps ✨

After a few days of walking and cycling in annecy, we stayed Sunday night. The rooms were lovely, clean, and glamorous, and the spa was so comfortable. It wrapped up the holiday beautifully. We really didn’t want to leave.

There’s a secure place for bikes in the cellar, and the staff keep a close eye on them. The rooms are clean, nicely decorated, and have a great view of the mountains around La Cluzas. We also had good service, with freshly made cakes at breakfast and afternoon tea. There are coffee and tea facilities both in the room and at reception.

The spa was the one disappointment for me. The pool felt quite cold, nobody seemed willing to get in, and there was no jacuzzi. Still, the staff were extremely helpful and polite, the atmosphere was great, and both the rooms and decor were spot on. Breakfast was appropriate, too. I’d highly recommend the hotel apart from that.
