The toilet wobbled when I sat down because it wasn't grounded correctly, and parking was very limited. I had to use a handicap spot. I don't recommend this place at all. Noise was another problem. I'm a light sleeper and was jetlagged, so I asked for a quiet room at check-in, but got one right beside the entrance lobby and could hear conversations at the front desk. I tried to ask in person for another room, but the lady was on the phone. It was getting dark, and I only had 24 hours in the city, so I went to see Saint Tropez. When I called later to ask for a quieter room, she said that was OK, or at least I think she did, since her English was very broken. When I got back, I was told using Google Translate that it wasn't possible and that I should talk to the manager in the morning. I was accused of using the shower, though I hadn't, and either way that shouldn't have mattered. Noise woke me at 6 AM the next day, and there was nobody at the front desk when I left. The location sucks too. Saint Tropez is a 20-minute ride away, and there's not much to do in the town.

We had a wonderful time, and it's a perfect affordable hotel for the region. The staff went out of their way to help and were very friendly. The rooms are well maintained and clean, and the garden is a lovely, provincial place to relax. We spent most of my first day sitting there. The shower is a bit small, though I understand the hotel wasn't built with that in mind. I'd recommend it to anybody.

The garden was a perfect place to relax, and the rooms were clean and very well maintained. The staff were extremely nice and helpful. We had a wonderful time at this affordable hotel and hope to come back one day.

The garden makes a lovely spot for breakfast or an aperitif, and there's a nice atmosphere throughout. La Bienvenue sits right in the heart of LCV village, a great base for the area and the beaches. It's a simple, straightforward 3-star hotel that does exactly what it sets out to do: clean and comfortable, nothing more or less. The staff are friendly and helpful. We'll definitely come back, as long as they keep doing what they do. 🙂

Just note that they only serve breakfast, though there are plenty of restaurants within walking distance. The food and drinks are all organic, including regional brewery organic beer and Pukka teas, which is a big plus. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel pairs French chic in an old building with a modern interior in a shabby look.
