Nice flat at 8 min walk from the beach in La Croix-Valmer - Welkeys

The setting is lovely, and the location makes it easy to reach St Tropez, Cavalaire, Ramatuelle and other places. The accommodation itself is nice, but all the stairs make it unsuitable for anyone with mobility issues or a stroller. I’d suggest coming in the quieter months, May, June or September. What really spoiled things were the older resident owners who’ve been there for years. They act as if the pool and whole place belong to them, clearly can’t stand children, and verbally went after a mother for making two calls while sitting on her deckchair near the pool. She was literally insulted 😪

The apartment felt cramped and stuffy, and the residents were awful. It’s supposedly a luxury residence, but nothing seemed maintained apart from the gardeners, who were there every day at 8:30 a.m. Don’t make noise at 2 p.m., because that’s nap time, and apparently after 10 p.m. nobody is asleep either. Avoid it.

There’s a lovely view of the sea, and the tennis court has been renovated recently. The pool is a decent size and wasn’t too busy, and there’s a large car park. Shuttle buses serve the area, though having a car is better.

My apartment was clean, and the residence itself was quiet, clean, and had plenty of parking. There’s a secure gate at the entrance and a lovely big pool overlooking the sea. The one thing I missed was air conditioning.
