Govin was a fantastic entertainer, and we really enjoyed the evening games and drinks. The staff were friendly, and it was very peaceful. The views from our balcony were breathtaking, too. But there’s no bar open in the daytime to get a coffee on the terrace. The ski shuttle costs €5 per person, and the buses aren’t accessible for my disabled husband. A round trip for the two of us comes to €20 a day, which is a lot when there’s little to do nearby in winter, especially with mobility issues. There are activities for children, but the place isn’t accessible for people with reduced mobility.

Getting to the slopes by car was easy, less than five minutes. There’s parking, plus free storage for skis and boots. The welcome was excellent and the setting is very pleasant. The apartments feel a little dated, though the shared areas are kept very clean.

We kept busy outside after skiing, even building an igloo. Lovely outdoor area, and a great spot for enjoying the mountains!

The village has beautiful snowshoe trails you can reach on foot, and from the Pleynet resort you can take a chairlift to explore more routes with 360-degree views. It was a quiet, relaxing stay with a warm welcome. We’ll gladly come back. Have a great end to the season!
