Being so close to the sea meant we could spend an afternoon by the water, and getting there from Nantes airport was easy. My partner and I had a fantastic stay at the castle. The host made us feel like part of the family, and it’s an experience we won’t forget. We can’t wait to see everyone again, and we’ll definitely be back next year.

The rooms and grounds are stunning, and the hosts were incredibly kind. We had such a lovely time at the chateau and only wished we could have stayed longer. It’s an ideal weekend break from the city. We’re already planning another visit. Thanks, Sandrine and everyone!

The hosts were so friendly and helpful, without ever hovering. They quickly responded to anything we brought up and helped the B&B guests and family get along as one little community. The pool is lovely, and the grounds are amazing. Staying in this historic chateau was enchanting. The keep, or donjon, has wonderful bedrooms and an incredible medieval dining hall, while the pavilion has inviting shared rooms and lovely bedrooms. We had a really memorable fortnight. Absolutely outstanding, thank you!

The garden has some of the oldest trees around, and walking there in the morning was a delight. The owner, who knows a lot about the history, gave us some background and was clearly passionate and well rounded. I really enjoyed our conversations. It’s a place with unique historical value and such thoughtful attention to detail. The owners were hospitable, and our time there brought together history, quality, and the feeling of being at home. We didn’t want to leave and will certainly come back.
