We only stayed for a weekend, but we'd like to return. It's a lovely spot to relax, with a friendly, warm owner and a property that feels carefully put together. The atmosphere is great, and everything was clean and neat.
We had a really enjoyable stay and would love to come back. The rooms are tidy, the owner is lovely, and the guesthouse is a wonderful place to unwind.

After a busy day around Saint-Tropez or Port-Grimaud, Bastide Selva feels like coming home. The house is lovely, with just a handful of rooms and a gîte that works well for families with children. You can see the attention to quality and class in the details, and the beautiful drive up leads to a place with all the comforts you need. The pool is gorgeous, and the small scale keeps things peaceful. La Garde-Freinet is a charming village with plenty of restaurants. We liked La Feuille! What makes the stay especially memorable, though, is how kind Valérie and her husband Fred are. Valérie also cooks a delicious meal with care every Wednesday and Sunday. From aperitif through dessert, they put a lot into making it a lovely evening. We had a great week here and already miss it.
Valérie made us feel welcome right away, and she was so thoughtful about recommending restaurants and making reservations for us each evening. The breakfast was delicious too, with homemade jam and fresh fruit salad. We loved our three nights at Bastide Selva. The room was lovely and very clean, and the outdoor space and pool were beautiful. Valérie is such a lovely host. We'd return in a heartbeat if we were in the area again, and would stay longer. Highly recommended! Thank you for everything, Valérie! 🤗🙏🏻
