The location right across from the sea is ideal. The studio has a bunk bed in the entrance and a sofa bed in the living room, as you might expect from an apartment in La Grande Motte. The hallway feels particularly unwelcoming and echoes terribly. That's common in buildings this age in the area, but the shared spaces really need a thorough cleaning.

The beach is lovely early in the morning, so bring your bag! ;) There are beautiful dunes and peaceful walks, and the relaxation area really is relaxing. I look forward to coming back every summer. It's car-free along the seafront, and dogs are welcome in most places, which is handy.

The agency should have mentioned the construction work going on right now, which is a shame. Even so, the apartment is lovely, with windows on both sides and a sea view. The setting is beautiful and peaceful, and overall we had a very positive impression.
