Les sables d'or, P2 piscine et PARKING privé

Booked through Airbnb, and the apartment was superb: thoughtfully laid out and equipped with everything we needed. There’s a fantastic pool with lots of space to swim, and the beach is about a 10-minute walk away. A little restaurant is just steps from the residence. A peaceful place to unwind.

The apartment was spotless, with shops close by, bouncy castles next door for kids, and the beach nearby. My daughter and I stayed for a week at the end of July in a ground-floor place with a terrace right by the private pool. The awkward part was picking up the key: you have to get to Century 21 by 4 pm, or you may end up waiting in the sun. The train ride from the key pickup to the apartment is a long one, so having a car would be better.

The accommodation was okay, though a bit far from the center, so a car or bicycle would help. The pool was too small and crowded for its depth, and there just wasn't enough room for a holiday swim.

My cousin and I stayed here from September 2nd to 5th, 2020. The location really is excellent, but I feel the owners or management team, I'm not sure which, acted in bad faith. On arrival, we found floor stains that washed out, plus a large shard of broken glass at the bottom of the mezzanine stairs. We told our contact person about it. When we left, €120 was taken from my deposit and only €90 came back. For three weeks we tried to find out why, and they bombarded us with lies: they said the bed had already been dirty when we arrived, that we hadn't been given a pillowcase, and that we hadn't cleaned the place. That's completely false. I personally cleaned it on Saturday morning before we left. Reviews on Google and Booking.com talk about this little scheme of keeping deposits. I should have paid attention. Too late now. Run from this place, they'll invent reasons to keep your deposit. You are crooks and thieves.
