We were driving to Italy when we came across this place and decided to stop for a day. It ended up being our favorite stay in all of Europe. The food was exceptional, the views spectacular, and the whole experience was the best. I'd give it more stars if I could, and we'll definitely be back.

The hotel itself is fine, but I'd avoid half pension. The meal we got was poor quality and uninspired. Maybe they're just not very motivated to cook those half pension dinners.

The waitress set my drink down with a bang at the seat across from me, then stormed off. I couldn't even finish saying thank you before she walked away. There's no reason to treat a customer like that.

The beds are comfortable, and the shower always had hot water, which really matters after a long day out in the cold. We had excellent dinners too, with a selection of local beers at the bar. The lovely owners do everything they can to make you comfortable and help with any issues that come up during your stay.

The people are very nice, the view is lovely, and the food is very good. We stayed half board and really enjoyed both breakfast and dinner. Some might call the rooms basic, but for us they were secondary to the whole experience. For what you pay, this deserves five stars.
