Résivacances Les Chalets de la Lauzière

I've been renting chalets in this residence for about 20 years, usually through Resivacances, though they change their name from time to time. I've tried around five different chalets for six people, the two-bedroom ones. The chalets used to be fantastic, with nothing to complain about. Over the years, though, they've started to feel like investments whose owners never actually visit. They're aging, things like cutlery are missing, items are damaged, the bedding is worn, and the decor is outdated and now ugly. It's barely acceptable. There's a fireplace, but you have to pay for firewood. Some chalets are rented directly by private owners instead of through Resivacances, and those are the ones to choose. They'll be perfect. The chalets sit at the edge of the village, around 10 minutes from the slopes. It's very peaceful, but parking can be tricky since there are no designated spaces at the chalet, so you have to find any available spot. The condo association doesn't always sand the access road, and the hill is steep enough that you'll need chains. Still, you won't need a car to get around. There's a swimming pool. It's getting a bit old, but handy for a quick dip when the weather's poor. Depending on which chalet you book, you might get a beautiful mountain view.

Parking is available, and the town center is only a 5-minute walk away. This is a very nice chalet in a small resort in Dévoluy 🏔🏔. It works great for 8 people, but feels rather small for 14. A few things could be better: the TVs in the bedrooms are very difficult to use because of a major bug, and the cleaning is superficial rather than thorough. 🌸

Benjamin gave us a very warm welcome when we arrived, and we had a wonderful week at this family-friendly resort. Our chalet no. 29 was beautiful, roomy, and well equipped, with a lovely view, and just a 5-minute walk from the ski lifts. The pool also looks out over the mountains. There's a sauna too, but you need to reserve it and pay extra. We really enjoyed the holiday. 👍

We stayed in chalet 32 for a superb week with the family. It was spacious, comfortable, and well equipped, with the slopes and resort close by. Having a cozy fire going in the fireplace while we ate crêpes was fantastic. Thanks, we'll definitely return.
