It's a lovely little family run site with that old-fashioned feel meant in the nicest way. The pitches are hard standing, and some are really generous in size. There's a very good restaurant and bar, plus a small, well-kept pool and a communal play area for kids right beside the site. A number of beaches are about 1km away.
The site was tidy, but we won't be back. They wouldn't book us in by phone and just said to turn up and find out if there was space. The pitches are very tight for a 7.5 Mtr Motorhome. Washing-up water was barely lukewarm, and there were no toilet seats or paper, no hand cleaner or towels for drying. They would only take cash.
The receptionist was really unfriendly. I phoned to book and was told, “come to the camping after 2 pm to see if we have space”. When I asked if they could hold a spot for us, they said no, without explaining why. Really odd and unfriendly.
We loved how quiet the camping was. It's close to the beach, really clean, and has a great swimmingpool. The owners and staff were very friendly and helpful too. We'd absolutely recommend it!
The hosts were very friendly, and the facilities were clean and good. A peaceful camping in a really good location.
