I’m not hard to please, but a restaurant should meet a basic standard. The dog smell was everywhere, there were no menus for drinks, starters, or wine, and I had to go looking for someone at reception. I’ve never been greeted this way in a “restaurant” before.

We had a really pleasant overnight stay after choosing both the hotel and restaurant. The owners were kind and helpful, and it was good value for money. The setting was lovely for walks.

A great stop for our group of eight while cycling the Loire. We got a warm welcome, the accommodation was simple and clean, and breakfast was generous. Dinner was homemade too.

Julien welcomes you with real warmth and no fuss. The hotel is a pleasant change from places that feel overly standardized, and its spot along the Loire is lovely. Give it a try, you won’t be disappointed.

There’s a lovely terrace to enjoy in summer, and the place is friendly with unbeatable value for money.
