Jardin de Palme

The pool and plancha grill made for a lovely stay with friends, and the garden was beautifully cared for. There are lots of thoughtful touches, from the paintings and artisan exhibitions to the way everything is laid out. Jacky and Lionel welcomed us so warmly into their home that it felt like a real break from everyday life. Their guesthouse feels like them, warm and welcoming, and a rare kind of escape. We arrived as holidaymakers and left feeling like stars. Thank you for everything, Danke 🫶

The rooms are peaceful and beautifully furnished, and the pool is amazing. It’s a wonderful spot to slow down and relax, with owners who are incredibly friendly and helpful. There’s plenty to do nearby, from enjoying French food to surfing and mountain biking. We’ll definitely come back! 🤩👍🏻

The owners were so available, even after we’d left the keys inside the room for the third time and a nasty draft slammed the door shut 🥴. We had an excellent weekend with friends over Ascension in this peaceful place, right in the centre of La Palme. The rooms are tastefully decorated, and the pool area with its summer kitchen is very pleasant. It’s well placed for getting to the sea or heading inland. Highly recommended.

La Cité had everything we needed, a lovely view over the pool and garden, and a super comfortable bed and pillows. The owners were friendly, discreet, and very helpful. Our dog Mona, 2, was warmly welcomed and had loads of fun with their dog Shana, 3. We really enjoyed all 12 nights at Jardin de Palme. La Palme is nice for walks and wine tasting at the local wineries, and L’Echo des Saisons right across the street is definitely worth a visit. Earl Du Domaine les Mille Vignes is across the street too. Its wine costs a bit more, but we thought it was worth it, and the tasting comes with passionate explanations about the wine. Port La Nouvelle is about 10 minutes away, and Port Leucate, about 20 minutes away, is highly recommended. There are also lots of charming coastal towns and villages around. We loved the mix of beaches, walks, wine, good food, and exploring authentic French villages.
