Appartement La Plagne Soleil

The rooms are well appointed and have great views. The location is hard to beat, right beside the piste for ski-in/ski-out access, close to La Bergerie Bar, and just up from La Plagne centre. A fantastic self-catering stay. We’re definitely coming back.

The apartment was clean, quiet, warm, and well equipped. We were on the fourth floor of building b, overlooking a green run with a rope lift, which was a great spot for first-timers to practise. There was a hob and microwave for simple meals, and the sofa bed lifts up and down in seconds. Bring a sharp knife. I stayed for a week in April with my two teenage boys. Ski hire, ski school, restaurants, and Spar were a minute away. Spar is very expensive, but handy for morning croissants and drinks. We hired skis through Skiset and got mixed service, so I’d try Netski next time. The piste down to Bergerie lift isn’t for complete beginners, though it’s manageable with a steady snowplough. The Bergerie lift gets very busy first thing, then quiets down during the day. All in all, a great holiday in a great place.

It was quiet, and having ski lockers meant we could get onto the slopes quickly. The location is amazing, beside a major lift, the ski school, and several businesses. We booked through crystal ski at a very reasonable price. The shower was tiny, even for someone under average size, and the temperature fluctuated. Maybe someone flushing a toilet elsewhere in the building affected it. We had to pay a small tourist tax and a deposit when we arrived. They only provide one roll of toilet paper, so bring more, and clean up after yourselves.

The apartments were bright, warm, and well equipped, just as described in the information. Reception staff were friendly. It’s right on the slope, near the ski school and local shops.
