We had a really nice February stay with friends. The apartment had everything we needed, and the resort’s altitude, above 2000 m, meant there was still snow in the 2023-2024 winter. We could head straight from the ski lockers onto the slopes, so there was no walking in ski gear.

I wasn’t staying at the hotel, just visiting the spa, and the afternoon was wonderfully quiet. Everything was working as it should, and the amenities were lovely. I popped in that morning to ask about availability, and reception got me booked in and showed me where to go since the desk would be closed when I arrived. They were so helpful and lovely. The treatment was fantastic. My massage was possibly one of the best I’ve ever had, exactly what I needed after several long days skiing. Thank you so much!

We checked in at night and then had to hunt around the car park for our bedding, which was annoying. The place is good value, and the staff are friendly, but it feels a bit sterile. There’s no baggage room, and the communal area is locked at night, so you can’t use the pool table then. The sauna is great, though the pool room is cold and the hot tubs are warm rather than hot.

We liked the onsite restaurant and the friendly guy who runs it, and the prices weren’t bad either. The spa was clean and had a good pool, hot tubs, steam room, and saunas, which we really appreciated after skiing. The apartment was also bigger than we expected, with a large lounge, dining, and kitchen area, two decent-sized bedrooms, and an ensuite main bedroom. The kitchen had plenty of crockery and a dishwasher, and there was a big balcony, though we didn’t use it this time. The location worked well for us: straight out to the slopes, restaurants within walking distance, and the free local bus stops right outside. There are also nearby bars and shops, and the free bus goes to other resorts. Ski lockers were useful and had heaters. The main downside was cleanliness in the apartment, especially the bathrooms and floors. The sinks and shower trays were stained. There was only one toilet roll for an apartment sleeping six, and we had to buy the rest. We didn’t know that on the first evening, when the shops were closed. We asked the hotel, but they flatly refused to give us even one extra roll until the shops reopened. It wasn’t a huge complaint, and we’d certainly stay again.
