ho36 La Plagne

We'd booked dinner at the restaurant for my wife, daughter and me. The service was really good, and all the meals were great. I had the pulled pork burger and it was absolutely delicious. Definitely recommend the restaurant and bar.

The atmosphere at ho36 was a big part of our 5-night stay. It's a unique place to stay in La Plagne, with a friendly, relaxed, lively vibe and lots of interesting people staying and working there. Staff across reception, the bar and ski room were all friendly, helpful and professional. We stayed in two different rooms. One was excellent; the other wasn't as good, but was perfectly fine. Breakfast was good and worth the price, though they struggled with the rush around 8:15. It wasn't unusual to wait for cups, bowls or plates to be washed, or for some food to be replenished. The bar was enjoyable and well priced. I wouldn't call the accommodation cheap, but compared with the rest of the resort, it was well priced.

The shared spaces, especially the bar, were welcoming, and the food was good value for the price, with generous portions and good quality at breakfast and dinner. We stayed for three days with 13 colleagues at Ho36, La Plagne, on half board in private rooms for four. The atmosphere was very relaxed, service was fantastic, and the rooms were clean and small but did what we needed. The location is almost ski-in, ski-out, and having the ski shop in the building was handy. We could leave our bags and change before check-in or after check-out, so arrival and departure days were easy for skiing. Bring a towel, though there is a towel service for a small fee.

The hostel was clean and spacious, and perfectly placed for skiing. Staff were lovely and ready to help with anything. You can rent skis there at a good price, and there’s a bar and restaurant with reasonable prices for the area. There’s also a small kitchenette if you’d rather cook for yourself.
