We arrived in Plagne Soleil during one of the busiest school holiday ski weeks and found out the residence we’d booked had shut down. The Vancouver let us wait in its lobby while we sorted things out with the travel agency, StayForLong (do not use!!!). The staff helped confirm our replacement booking in Les Arcs and arranged a ride there from Plagne Soleil. They were kind, understanding and really helpful, which made a stressful mess easier for our group of five adults and two children. We liked the lobby fireplace and bar area too, and would consider staying there another time.

The staff were so friendly, thank you for everything. The rooms were nice, the view was beautiful, and ski in ski out worked well for an intermediate skier. There’s also a free beginner mini slope nearby. A couple of things could be better: breakfast was meant to be included but wasn’t provided on three of our seven days, and there was no extractor in either the toilet or bathroom.

We had a lovely stay. You can ski right to the hotel door, and the local area has loads of runs and lifts. The reception and bar staff were accommodating, thanks Anna! Our room was clean and spacious, with a balcony. After skiing, the pool, sauna and jacuzzi were great for easing sore muscles.

We had a great family ski week with our two teenagers. The food was good, the rooms were clean, and the pool and jacuzzi area was nice. Everyone on staff was welcoming and happy to help. The hotel’s ski in, ski out access was another plus, and we’d stay again. My only small issue was the attic room. With just a roof Velux window, it felt a bit claustrophobic, especially when snow covered the window and the room seemed closed in. That’s a personal thing, and when I mentioned it, the staff said I could move rooms for an extra charge, which seemed fair.

The breakfast was nice, and the ski rental shop is right next door. Our room was small but fairly comfortable. Service at reception was mediocre, and we got no help with dinner reservations. The spa and pool never opened during our stay because of “technical problems.” It also wasn’t really ski in, ski out.
