Les Marm'hôtes

The food was so good, especially the homemade bread and brioche, and the welcome was lovely, with tips for hikes and other things to do. We had a wonderful week at Aloïs & Céline's. Everything was just right: the bedding was good, the room clean, bright and nicely decorated, and it was very quiet. The place itself is beautiful and peaceful, with a lovely mountain view. We had such a good time, the only complaint is that we wish we’d stayed longer!

Breakfast was all homemade, and I’m going to miss that brioche! The beds were comfortable, the bathroom was big and very clean, and the organic shower gel smelled lovely. It was so quiet and relaxing. The location worked perfectly for us, with no more than 20 minutes to the funicular, then just 5 minutes up to Les Arcs. Great value for money!

Céline and Aloïs were so welcoming and kind, and gave us helpful tips on places to see around the region. We stayed five nights with friends, using three of their rooms, and all were comfortable, clean and nicely decorated. Breakfast was lovely, with homemade products. We’d definitely recommend it.

The mountains stretch as far as you can see, and it’s wonderfully peaceful, with sheep bells and lambs softly tinkling away. The meal we shared was really enjoyable, and we had a great chat with Alois, Céline and Théo, who’s a future comedian and such a pleasant person. Théo, we’ll remember your lovely smile and how helpful you were. Breakfast was perfect, with homemade products. Alois and Céline gave us an excellent welcome, and their house is in a superb location.
