The slopes are pleasant and safe to ski until noon, and the ski lockers at the bottom of the building are handy. The shops on the ground floor are convenient, and the staff are very friendly. Exceptional weather and an extraordinary ski area helped us put things in perspective and enjoy ourselves. La Plagne is fantastic, just not at the Bellecôte residence. Families and couples wanting a quiet holiday should avoid it. Every night from 9:00 PM until 7:00 AM the next day, music blares from the nightclub downstairs and drunken holidaymakers shout. You’re guaranteed sleepless nights without earplugs, and even those don’t always help. The area is littered with partygoers’ trash. In the afternoon, people who were out partying the night before wake up and race down the slopes without regard for safety rules. The residence is badly insulated. The accommodation is dated, but laid out well. The beds are uncomfortable, just mattresses on wooden boards. Cleanliness is questionable, so bring cleaning supplies and remove anything previous guests left behind. The outdoor pool costs an extra 13 euros per day, and parking is also an additional charge for your stay. Despite the icy conditions, the residence hadn’t put anti-slip mats at the entrance.

The beds are comfortable, the bathroom is a good size, and the floors are pleasant and clean. There’s enough space for two people. Ski lockers save you carrying your skis back upstairs, and a shuttle stops right outside. The residence is right at the foot of the slopes, which is a real plus. There are plenty of things that need attention, though: dirty dishes, a broken TV, poor soundproofing, not enough kitchen utensils, no double duvet for couples, and doors that don’t close properly. Parking costs extra, and unloading luggage is especially inconvenient.

We’ve never stayed somewhere so filthy and crappy. It was dusty and dirty, with large patches of mold in every room. We had to clean the place thoroughly ourselves because there seemed to be no alternative. It was also extremely noisy, and the doors and windows didn’t close properly. Travelski and Booking.com dare to give it 3 stars. One star is too much for this filthy place. Save yourself the enormous disappointment. It can hardly get worse.

The residence was loud from evening until early morning, with shouting and music. The shared areas were very dirty, with rubbish bins left on the entrance floors and bad smells. Equipment was also broken and poorly maintained, including windows and doors.
