The apartment was clean, tidy, and spacious for two people. The kitchen inventory was well stocked with what we needed to cook a nice meal. For skiing, the location is superb: the lifts to the Paradiski ski area are only about 150 metres away. There's a ski room where you can lock up your skis and boots overnight. Les Coches centre is around a 200-metre walk, with ski hire, ski school, grocery shops, fresh bakery, restaurants, a butcher, and more. A great place to stay with everything close by, especially if you're planning a stay of a week or longer.

There are a few things to know about this residence. It's a Maëva property, so it feels budget, and the appliances, furniture, decor and even utensils at Hameau du sauget were all barely above standard. It's not the quality you'd get from a fully branded Pierre et Vacances residence. There's no reception here, so you have to pick up the keys in another building. You can't ski out from the residence either, so you'll need to walk along the road with your skis for about 400 metres to reach a lift. You can ski in, but it's tricky and you risk running into pedestrians. I'd gladly pay another 50€ a night for somewhere else. I wouldn't recommend this place to friends or enemies.
