Olivier and Anne were lovely hosts and gave us excellent tips during our stay at Maison Couleur Volcan on Reunion Island. The meals were superb, and so were the rooms. It’s well placed at the foot of the volcano, which makes it a great base for hikers. We drove about 5-6 minutes to La Cité du Volcan (Volcano City), a visit you can do with children. If you go out in the hamlet in the evening, bring a light jacket or wool sweater, as it can get chilly. I recommend it 200%!

Anne and Olivier gave us such a kind, warm welcome, and we had a delicious dinner that evening. Breakfast was generous too. Their useful tips really helped us plan our sightseeing, and now we’re ready to head to the volcano. Thank you both. Go without hesitation!

Anne and Olivier are lovely and really attentive, always ready to help make your stay as good as possible. The house is a fantastic place to stay, and it’s about 45 minutes from Piton de la Fournaise.

That sausage rougail was a real treat, full of flavor and perfectly spiced. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, practical, and thoughtfully laid out.
