L'Appollu

The restaurant was a highlight, with tasty local dishes given a modern twist, and we loved the surrounding mountains. We stayed here on holiday in 2018, and L'appollu was a great experience for its setting, service, food, and hospitality. The apartment was clean and modern, with a wonderful view. I’d absolutely recommend the place.

The restaurant was outstanding, with the best food we had in Corsica. My partner and I had a wonderful stay, and the hospitality was amazing. Our room was beautiful and much better than we expected. Highly recommended.

The restaurant was amazing, and breakfast was very good. The rooms are beautiful too. It’s in the middle of nowhere, reached by quite a few winding turns with cows on the road.

The apartments are in excellent condition and the air conditioning works well. A few things didn’t work for me: the place lacks the Mediterranean feel I’ve found at similar places, and the staff weren’t as welcoming as I’m used to. Don’t expect a nice terrace either, the small balconies have little atmosphere. The pool is shared with restaurant guests, and there can easily be 20 kids in it at once during rush hour. In the lower apartments, kitchen noise can start around 7am, though that may not bother you if you have young kids. WiFi reception can be poor or stop working altogether. For the roads, only D205 is barely wide enough for two narrow cars. On the others, expect a ride that makes every other rollercoaster feel like a walk in the park, adding 40 minutes of driving.
