Monsieur Remy De Sciuvaux welcomed us into his home and spoke about his family and ancestors. He was gracious throughout, and the magnificent dinner spread was wonderful. Our tour bus had arranged to stop at the château for dinner, and I’m glad it did. If you can request a stop on your tour, do it. You’ll be happy you did.

We were welcomed with wine and wonderful cheeses, and it became a great memory. As we walked onto the grounds, the city atmosphere gave way to the smell of sweet grasses. Time has been kind to this charming refuge. Just embrace the feeling and sip in the flavor.

The property is huge, almost like a mini Versailles. We stopped over for tea, and they served the best macaroons. I’d say early October is the best time to visit, when the air is still crisp.

Lunch was very nice, and everyone was quite hospitable. I’m looking forward to coming back and staying longer.

The lady's cooking was delicious, and the hosts were so welcoming and friendly. We spent a memorable three-day weekend at this magnificent castle with our eight-year-old son. Thank you to the hosts for making it such a lovely weekend.
