Jardin des Sens

The hosts made us feel welcome, and breakfast was delicious. We slept really well in the comfortable bedroom and bedding. On gray days, the garden jacuzzi and private hammam were a treat. The house itself is charming, set in a peaceful natural spot, and the surrounding region is beautiful and fascinating. We had a wonderful stay.

The garden is spacious and lovely, and we enjoyed some quiet time there with the excellent breakfast and superb jacuzzi. We also explored nearby, with Dijon about 35 minutes away, Châteauneuf 22 minutes, and Flavigny 30 minutes. They’re charming villages for a stroll or a meal. Our family spent a few days at this warm, relaxing place and left feeling refreshed. The hosts were so welcoming and gave us useful tips for making the most of our short stay. Five stars, well deserved!

We felt at ease right away in the shared spaces and the large, well-kept garden. Everything here makes it easy to unwind. Breakfast was very good, with fresh items, most of them made on-site, and the owners were warm and friendly while still giving us privacy. The old farmhouse has been renovated with real taste, and the surroundings made for a lovely stay. Our large room was clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated, with a very big bed that made for restful nights. The bathroom’s chromotherapy shower was a real treat. We’d happily come back to the area, though we wished we’d had a few more days. It’s a peaceful spot in nature, just a few kilometers from a town with everything you need for a holiday.

We visited in early July 2022. The region and location are beautiful, and the setting feels peaceful and a bit out of the ordinary. Our room was spacious and elegant, with a sauna that was a real bonus. There were some downsides: cleanliness could use attention, especially the cobwebs. The sharing platter was generous, though some local products weren’t available, and breakfast could be much better, particularly the selection. The outdoor jacuzzi was out of order, and there was a wasp nest in it.
