A gorgeous family-run hotel in a stunning town, with a warm, personal welcome. The breakfast was superb, though unfortunately we didn’t get to try the restaurant. It’s excellent value and a destination in its own right. A perfect antidote to corporate banality. What a fantastic find, highly recommend.

Our room was super cute, and Audrey greeted us beautifully, with freshly cut flowers and linen tablecloths and napkins. Breakfast was laid out with real style, and Camille looked after us so fabulously. I’m not sure why it’s only a three-star hotel. For me, it was Cinq Etoile ✨️✨️♥️✨️✨️

Our evening meal at the restaurant was the best we’ve experienced in France. Mr Gauchet is an amazing chef, and it was a fine-dining experience we’ll always remember. Mme Gauchet gave us a warm welcome and was a wonderful host. We were shown to a large, bright room overlooking the courtyard herb garden, very clean and comfortable, with lovely antique furniture. This is a beautiful, charming hotel in a beautiful little town in Brittany, full of character. We’ll definitely return and would recommend both the hotel and restaurant to anyone. Dinner was delicious and well worth having in the conservatory, with exquisite service. The room, breakfast and service were all very good, too. This is an outstanding small hotel with a grand feel. We stayed at another hotel here as well, and it was just okay. The Auberge won by a mile.
