We stumbled on this lovely garden restaurant by chance. The surroundings were gorgeous, so the service being a bit slow didn’t bother us much. The homemade meal was €30 per person, coffee included, and they don’t take credit cards. We started with home-pressed apple juice, then had duck leg with vegetables and roast potato, followed by cherry clafoutis and fromage blanc with fresh strawberries, and coffee.

The garden is gorgeous, with flowers cared for and arranged with real taste. I loved noticing all the different blooms each day, and the quiet, gentle feel of the place. The terrace was lovely at any time, especially with the climbing roses along the house. It made me want to sit, read, and just take it all in. I spent three wonderful weeks at Le Jardin des Lys while having my spa treatment in La Roche-Posay. I found the peace and beauty I needed to recharge there. Swifts crossed the sky with their graceful flights and distinctive calls, while the nearby church bells softly marked the days. Marta and Thierry gave me a warm, kind, and discreet welcome. The whole stay felt like a peaceful place to rest and renew myself. I’ll remember it fondly and wholeheartedly recommend it to spa-goers and travelers looking for tranquility, beauty, and authenticity. Marta and Thierry, simply THANK YOU 🌸💜🌸

Marta and Thierry were attentive hosts, full of helpful advice and real breakfast experts. We had a wonderful time in their charming, ideally located house, tucked peacefully into a superb garden. A huge thank you to them.

We only stayed one night while passing through, but the welcome was warm and comfortable, and our two dogs were welcome too. Breakfast was such a nice experience, with easy conversation with the owners and delicious homemade yogurt and fruit jam made from orchard fruit. Definitely recommend this place!
