The outdoor pool was a great extra, and getting to the Thermal Cure took just two minutes on foot. We stayed for three weeks in a very spacious studio apartment, with a lounge, kitchen and bathroom, and it was great value for money. The bedding and towels were changed halfway through our stay. I'll be glad to reserve again next year.

The apartment was filthy and disgusting. There was broken glass and lots of pigeon droppings in the parking garage, which felt unhealthy for us and our dog. Inside, the room was spacious, but the carpet had so many dirty spots that we didn't even dare put our suitcases down. We shut the door behind us and left. After 19:00 there was nobody at reception, and nobody answered the phone. I wouldn't recommend this stay to my worst enemy.

If all you need is an extremely basic night's rest, this may suit you. It's a place renting out apartment rooms with a fridge, microwave and hob, rather than a hotel. There are lots of units, so it isn't as charming as the photos suggest. No chairs are provided by the pool, and reaching it involves a strange detour. Breakfast isn't available here, so you'd have to go to La Roche Posay village.

The rooms are a great size, very comfortable and clean, and the staff were lovely. The location was excellent, and we enjoyed the pool too. This was our second visit, and we'll be back again.

We stayed one night, and the unit was filthy throughout and hadn't been cleaned properly. The place was disgusting. I'll never stay in an Appart Hotel again.
