The staff were polite and helpful, and the town has a lively, pleasant feel. We were there for work because the hotel was near our business location, yet it somehow felt like being on holiday. I’d gladly return for a proper vacation and highly recommend it.

It worked well for a short break or an overnight stay in Annecy. The room was what I expected and the service was good. Just note that the center is about a 25-30 minute drive away.

The hotel faces a high school, so mornings and afternoons can get busy with students and school buses. Local police are usually there to keep traffic and people moving fairly smoothly. I found the three staff members I met during my 3 night stay, two men and one woman, helpful, courteous, thoughtful and polite. The town, Le Roche Sur Foron, is lovely, with lots of shops and different restaurants, and it has a bit of extra magic around Christmas. The room decor feels a little dated, though everything was thoroughly clean and the bathroom fixtures were clean and modern. Parking is free around Le Roche Sur Foron, with plenty of spaces outside.

The breakfast was good, and the staff were friendly. It’s a comfortable hotel at a reasonable price.
