We only stayed one night, but these gites and the owners made a great impression. Linda and her husband welcomed us so warmly that it felt like a home. We also loved the wood burner, practical kitchen, roomy bathroom, and comfortable bed. The gites are just off the N141 exit from N10. When you come up the lane, ignore the "no ENTRY" sign and come on through. 😁 Don't miss this lovely place!

We stayed for more than a week and really liked the rural setting and the place itself. The local pig and chickens were happy to eat our scraps.

We loved the forest nearby for peaceful walks, and La Rochefoucauld has a beautiful castle and some lovely restaurants. We also tried delicious local wine at Pascal Gonthier, about a half-hour drive away. The gite itself is beautifully furnished, with such a cozy, relaxed feel that we felt at home straightaway. The owner is sweet, helpful, and professional, and the place put us at ease right away. We had a wonderful time and will definitely come back!
