L'Auberivières

The room was spacious and the bed comfortable, and the place itself has a lovely mix of stone and wood. We felt at ease almost as soon as we arrived, thanks to the warm welcome. The chef's cooking was a real treat, too. Excellent value, and we'd happily recommend staying here.

The welcome was friendly, the food was good, and the prices felt fair. A few changes to how things are presented could help, though. It would be useful to have the daily menu and prices displayed outside where people on the road can see them, since the sign currently says "hotel" but not "restaurant." For the decor, I'd lose the yellow tablecloths, glass coasters, artificial flowers, and wall candelabras. Painting the beams, wicker chairs, and baskets white might freshen things up.

The restaurant food was delicious, so congratulations to the chef. I stayed for two nights and would gladly come back. The staff were genuinely friendly and the welcome was warm, which feels rare these days. Thanks to everyone there.

At Auberivières, the lady and gentleman are both kind and professional, and the meal was divine. I'm recommending it, though I hope this time my recommendation proves right. I said the same about the Hôtel de la Glane in Oradour-sur-Glane and regretted it bitterly. Go soon! 😎😎😎😎😎
