The breakfast was generous: a croissant, pain au chocolat, half a baguette and a big glass of orange juice each. The Chinese black tea deserves a special mention. This is a simple, clean guesthouse in a private home, under a 30-minute walk from the city centre. The hosts were welcoming, friendly and discreet, and gave us great tips on sightseeing and food. The room was clean, the bedding decent and the bathroom nicely decorated. We recommend it.

We were close to the centre of La Rochelle, and the price was good. The welcome was friendly, the room was nice and had its own bathroom, and breakfast was very good.

The welcome needs work, and the staff were dreadful.
