Escale Rochelaise B&B, SPA bain nordique et sauna tonneau

We could hardly have picked a better place for our stay. It felt like a peaceful hideaway right in the heart of the city, with a lovely garden view. The building and room were very clean, thoughtfully designed, and beautifully put together. Vanessa was lovely, with clear instructions and helpful recommendations. The sauna and bath are well worth using, the wifi was great, and the market is less than five minutes away on foot. The port is within walking distance too. There’s also a piano downstairs, which adds a little extra harmony. Thank you!

We felt welcome right away, and Vanessa’s hospitality made it easy to relax. We had a wonderful two-day stay at Escale Rochelaise. The house is stunning, and the rooms are tastefully decorated, exceptionally clean, fresh, and airy. The garden is gorgeous, and breakfast was delicious on both mornings. It looks just as good as it does online, and the location is fantastic, only a couple of minutes’ walk from the centre. We’d happily come back and highly recommend it.

Vanessa was easy to reach whenever we had a question, and we’d highly recommend staying here. The bed was so comfortable, and the blackout curtains made for a great night’s sleep. There’s also a peaceful, gorgeous garden and a Zen den with a hot tub and sauna. The house and location are stunning. 10/10. All the reviews are true! 🤩

Right in the city, yet it felt like a peaceful oasis. We were welcomed so warmly, and Vanessa was kind-hearted, full of useful tips, and happy to arrange anything we needed. The wonderful garden is beautifully maintained, with lovely spots for breakfast and a relaxed start to the day. The house and rooms are tastefully furnished, and it was clear even from the information before our trip that the owners put a lot of care into the place. We stayed two nights at Escale Rochelaise during our road trip to northern Spain and really enjoyed it. We’d love to come back. Wencke & Rainer
