Hôtel Campanile / [hôtel Sorti Du Réseau]

The breakfast was really nice, with gluten-free bread and good options for vegetarians. The staff were friendly, and the price felt fair for the service. My room was simple, modern and comfortable. I like this hotel. I just hope they can do a bit more to keep the autoroute noise out of the rooms. That would make it ideal for us. ❤️✌️

The room was dark, the walls were dirty, and I could hear the neighbours easily. Travelling alone as a woman, I also didn't feel particularly safe here. My sleep was awful, with the A/C dripping in my room and a man talking on the phone next door until 2am. The two things I did like were the welcoming staff and a comfortable bed. Everything else in the room seemed due for an update, from the chairs, desk and cupboards to the old blankets in the wardrobe and the bathroom. I'd read the bad reviews and tried to keep an open mind, but the hotel was just terrible.

The room was extremely basic, and the balcony we were promised turned out to be a walkway running right past our door, with other rooms on either side. The motel sits by a busy road junction, so it was noisy. We checked in, saw the room, and checked straight back out.

The room had a strange smell, and some spots looked like they hadn't seen a duster in ages. The sheets and towels were stained, though they had clearly been washed, which still gave the place a bad feel. Fine if you just need to sleep over, but I'd look elsewhere for a longer stay.
