Htel Le Rupella

The staff were lovely, and the hotel was fantastic and in a great spot.

The location was handy for the harbor, restaurants, and train station, but the rooms were very bare and offered little comfort. There was just one power outlet, which made charging phones and devices difficult. A CPAP machine would be hard or impossible to use since there’s nowhere to plug it in by the bed. When we asked for help finding a taxi, we were simply told there weren’t any, so we had to try to figure out how to get to the airport ourselves. Rooms at the front were extremely loud all night and hot.

We stopped for a drink at the outside bar. The waitress didn’t greet us or smile, and looked at us as though we’d insulted her. When she brought the drinks, she dropped the bill on the table without a word.

The woman running the place was rude, and we felt unwelcome. She wouldn’t let us use the toilet even though we were buying things. Avoid. I’m going back in a minute to give her a bit of good old Saxon English.
