8/10
The bed and pillows were so comfortable that I gave it four stars instead of three. The room was nice, if not beautiful, and had the essentials: heating, AC, a kettle, and a good TV with plenty of channels. The bathroom looked nice and was very clean. The rest of the hotel seemed quite old and dated. The entrance was especially dated, and the old lifts felt scary. I didn’t look around the whole hotel.

I’ve just stayed another night and it’s still as convenient as ever. The hotel is surrounded by forest, has easy parking, and there’s a restaurant right across the road. Prices are reasonable, though the bathrooms could do with an update. I think the bathrooms on the fifth floor are newer.

The room was clean and comfortable, and the price was competitive. The hotel and its grounds are looking dated, though, and the place has seen better days. It’s in the woods outside Melun, so the location is fine if you have a car, with plenty of parking. Otherwise, a taxi to or from the train station costs around €10.

The room was comfortable, clean, and quiet at night, and breakfast was good. Service was excellent. A great hotel overall, I recommend it.

4/10
The rooms are comfortable and clean, but the place feels a bit run down and past its best. There’s no bar or lounge, just a limited restaurant. Buffalo Grill is across the road; otherwise, the city centre is about a mile away.
