We picked this place at the last minute and were really glad we did. The pool has loungers and a wide mountain view, and my son was very happy there. There’s also a games area nearby with a pool table and electronic games, which gave us parents a bit of breathing room while the kids had fun. The staff were terrific, and the food and drinks were good value for a campsite. We’ll come back.

The drinking water had a strange soapy taste, and the toilets had no seats. The shower water kept slipping from lukewarm to cold, which was miserable in April with the shower block partly open to the air. It was pitch dark outside in the evening, so we needed a torch to get around, including on the stone steps down to the showers and toilets, where there wasn’t a light. It had been raining a lot, yet the woman in charge put us in the boggiest spot. I don’t think I’d come back.

The owner welcomed us so warmly, and Mrs. Bea really went out of her way to make the holiday special. It’s a lovely spot, with recently renovated bathrooms and a gorgeous pool, complete with wall painting and loungers. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely return.

Our campervan pitch worked out perfectly, and we had a lovely time swimming. The restrooms were clean and in great shape. The owner was so welcoming, and even brought my daughter’s forgotten diving goggles over on the day we left. Such thoughtful service. We’ll definitely stop by again when we’re nearby.
