We loved the setting, and its magic will stay with us for a long time. The location and facilities are spectacular, check-in was smooth, and reception was impeccable. The spa programs and service were great, the bartenders were good, and the drinks were great. Our classy, thoughtfully designed room felt like a peaceful safe haven. The pool is spectacular, blending into the blue Indian Ocean. The restaurant’s views are stunning and the decor is perfect, but I was deeply disappointed by the menu. The food was bland and outrageously priced. Price isn’t the issue by itself. In a place like this, I expect know-how, ingenuity, creativity, and magic in the flavors. My local brasserie in Antibes serves better food. Breakfast should include gluten-free bread options and good-quality muesli. The viennoiseries, desserts, and pastries also weren’t up to this hotel’s standard. The food experience was poor in both its choices and execution. Staff uniforms need changing too, they have the same personality-free feel as the kitchen. A real shame in such a setting.
