The evening feel is what really won us over. The bar and lounge are warm, calm, and relaxing, with soft music, quiet voices, and an easy pace. It feels like settling into a private living room after a day on the mountain, not a hotel lobby. There’s no loud crowd or forced buzz. Le Christiania is proudly traditional, so the rooms are on the small side, as you’d expect in an Alpine village. A street-facing room lets in a little village noise, though it dies away by 9pm. Neither bothered us. The coziness is part of the appeal, and gives the place a snug, sheltered feeling that’s hard to find somewhere bigger and more impersonal. It’s also just a 2 minute walk from Arravet chair lift. The owners, Lorena and Christophe, make it special. They’re attentive, easy to talk to, and happy to pour a quiet nightcap or share great local tips for skiing the next day. If you’re after wide, modern, anonymous spaces, this probably isn’t your hotel. For peace, personality, and care from the people who run the place, Le Christiania is outstanding.

We were a group of 16 skiers aged 13 through 65, and this hotel covered everything we needed. The bedrooms are basic and functional, while the communal areas and facilities are lovely. Amazing breakfast, and the staff were very helpful. It’s really well situated, just a short walk from the lift and hire shops. All the good village restaurants are within a one minute walk.

Omg, I love it here so much. I’m so glad I stayed. The hotel is clean and the service is excellent. The breakfast restaurant serves locally prepared food made entirely from local ingredients. My room overlooked the stream, and the hotel had a fantastic atmosphere. The owner is beautiful and very kind.

The breakfast was my favorite part of our stay, and I really enjoyed chatting with one of the reception women, Lenora or a similar name. She was kind, attentive, and helped us book a restaurant and sort out some items we wanted to donate after our camping trip. Our family of four had a great time at Logis Hotel et Spa Le Christiania. The family room worked perfectly, with a separate area for our two kids. I'd happily recommend this family-run hotel near Briancon.

We found the staff really welcoming and helpful, and breakfast had a good range of choices. It's a traditional ski lodge, with comfortable enough rooms that were very warm, sometimes a bit too warm.
