VVF La Salvetat sur Agoût

Our kids had a great time, especially with the teen activity leaders, who really went out of their way. That made us happy too. The welcome was fantastic, and the staff deserve a special mention. It’s a peaceful spot, and the nearby lake had everything we needed for a lovely holiday. The place itself is a little dated, but they do a lot to make your stay pleasant.

There’s plenty to do around the center, though not much indoors for younger kids. The apartment was functional and close to both the lake and the pool. For evenings in front of the TV, I’d have preferred a sofa to the two armchairs, and there was no Wi-Fi in the apartments. The staff were friendly and competent, and I liked the location. Aside from those points, everything was very good. I was happy with my stay.

Cassandra, the manager, was particularly attentive to our requests and quick to respond. I appreciated how available she was, including during our informal chats. The children's and teenagers' club leaders were very friendly too. The cottages are spacious and comfortable, though a little dated, and the site has lovely views over Lake Raviège. Since construction meant we couldn't use the municipal swimming pool, the lake leisure center about 200 meters away was a convenient alternative.

Lots of water activities at the lake right next door, and the municipal pool is free to use right at the foot of the VVF. The kids' and teens' clubs start from age six, and there’s a good atmosphere with a lively, attentive team. It’s a really well-located VVF, and our stay was very pleasant, with a refreshing journey back in time. We did miss having a small snack bar on site and a club for toddlers, though. We really enjoyed it!!!
